Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
For better stability, before installation of the heatsink, please affix the motherboard to the motherboard tray first.
Apply thermal paste to the CPU.

Peel off the protective film.
Apply thermal paste to the bottom of heatsink base.

- STEP 5 -

When installing for the first time, make sure the push pin is at “Lock Mode”. To achieve this rotate the push pins clockwise all the way through.
Flip over to see if the black part of the push pin is as depicted in the illustration. If it’s pushed in, pull up the black part just as in the illustration.

Slide the bracket mount through between the heatpipes.
Extend the mounting bracket to its original form.

Placethe heatsink onto the CPU. For best result, have it face the rear exhaust system fan.
To secure heatsink in place, push down on the push pins in a diagonal fashion as depicted in the illustration until you hear a click sound.

Do the same for the other two corners. Again, make sure you hear a click sound as you push down on the push pins.

Fan Installation

- STEP 2-
Apply a thin layer of thermal paste to the CPU and to the bottom of heatsink base.
Place CPU heatsink (IFX-14) on top of CPU.

Insert each end of fan wire clips into holes on the fins (as circled in red).
Apply the anti-vibration strips to the spot depicted in the above illustration.

- STEP 6-
Place a fan to the heatsink and pull on the wire clips to hook into the fan mounting holes
Plug in the PWN connector to the power outlet on the motherboard to complete installation.

Heatsink uninstall
- STEP 1-
To uninstall the heatsink, first rotate the push pin counter clock wise to unlock and then pull up. Do the same for the others. Remove heatsink from the socket.
